      Eligibility / एलिजिबिलिटी

      The eligibility criteria for the Odisha Pension Madhu Babu Yojna are as follows:


      • ✔️Applicants aged 60 years and above
      • ✔️Widows of any age
      • ✔️Leprosy patients with visible signs of deformity of any age
      • ✔️Persons with disabilities of any age
      • ✔️AIDS patients identified by the State/District AIDS Control Society of any age
      • ✔️Annual family income of the applicant must not exceed then the limit
      • ✔️Applicant must be a permanent resident of Odisha
      • ✔️Applicant must not be receiving benefits from any other pension scheme of the Union Government, state government, or any organization aided by either government.

      Madhu Babu Pension Yojana 2024 : How to Apply Online? / अप्लाई कैसे करें ?

       

      • Visit the official website of the Department of Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (http://ssepd.gov.in/).
      • From the homepage, go to the "Apply for Scheme" option and click on it.
      • Select "Madhu Babu Pension Yojana" under the "Choose Scheme" option and click "Proceed."
      • Fill out the application form with the required details, such as scheme type, name, father/husband's name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, Aadhaar number, district, sub-division, address, and social category.
      • Upload scanned copies of your Aadhaar card, thumb impression/signature, and a recent passport-size photograph.
      • Read the declaration carefully and tick the checkbox.
      • Review the details and click "Submit."

      Latest Updates


      1) 11th Feb Update: The Odisha government has increased the pension amount by Rs. 500.    

      2) 09th August Update: Madhu Babu Pension Yojana now includes elderly, widows, and other vulnerable groups.

      3) Stipends for transgender people under the Madhu Babu Pension Yojana have been approved. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik endorsed the proposal, providing stipends ranging from Rs. 500 to Rs. 900 based on age. Approximately 6,000 transgender individuals in the state stand to benefit from this initiative.


      How to Link Aadhaar with Madhu Babu Pension Yojana 2024?

      Existing beneficiaries must link their Aadhaar cards with their social welfare link account to continue receiving benefits. This must be done by submitting a photocopy of the Aadhaar card at the Gram Panchayat office or municipal office before March 15th.

      Q: How can one apply for the pension under this scheme?

      A: To apply for the pension, beneficiaries must apply online or fill out the prescribed application form, which can be obtained free of cost from the Office of the Block Development Officer (B.D.O) or Executive Officer (E.O) of the Municipality/NAC concerned. The completed form should be submitted to the respective B.D.Os or E.Os.

      Q: Who sanctions the pension under this scheme?

      A: The Sub-Collector sanctions the pension in favor of the beneficiaries based on the recommendation of the B.D.Os.

      Q: How is the pension amount disbursed to the beneficiaries?

      A: The pension is disbursed in cash at the Gram Panchayat (GP) headquarters on the 15th of each month, known as Jana Seva Divas. The beneficiaries are identified by the PRI (Panchayati Raj Institution) members.
