Eligibility Criteria / योग्यता मानदंड:
Nationality: The applicant must be a citizen of India.
Regional Language Proficiency: Candidates are required to possess the
ability to speak Assamese or any other official language, associate official
languages of the State, or any of the tribal languages of the State.
Residentship: A candidate must be an original inhabitant of Assam.
Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must be registered with
a District Employment Office in Assam.
Small Family Norms: Applicants must provide a declaration regarding
"The Small Family Norms" in Form-A while applying for the C.C. (Prelim)
Examination.
✔️Age Limit:
The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38
years of age as on 01/01/2023.

(i) By 3 Years for OBC Candidates.(21 to 41)

Candidates must have a degree from a university recognized by the Central or
State Legislature in India or from other educational institutions
established by an Act of Parliament. Additionally, the qualification should
be declared as equivalent by the Government or deemed as a University under
Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.

The Combined Competitive Examination comprises two successive stages:
(i) Preliminary Examination (Objective Type)
(ii) Main Examination (Written & Interview Test)
CCE Preliminary Examination (Objective Type):
The CCE Preliminary Examination consists of two objective type
multiple-choice question papers, each lasting two hours.

CCE Main Examination (Written & Interview):
The Main Examination comprises Written Examination and Interview
Test/Personality Test (after qualifying in the written test).
I. Written Examination:
Based on the Preliminary Examination result, 11 to 12 times the number of
vacancies will be admitted to the Main Examination. It includes six papers
of conventional essay type/objective type with limited words.
