The Airports Authority of India (AAI) is a Government of India Public Sector Enterprise established by an Act of Parliament. Its primary responsibility is to develop, enhance, oversee, and operate civil aviation infrastructure on the ground and in the airspace throughout the country. AAI has been granted the prestigious Mini Ratna Category-1 Status.
AAI has issued a notification inviting qualified candidates to apply for the following positions through their official website www.aai.aero. Applications submitted through any other means will not be considered.
Qualification And Experience
The qualifications and experience required for various posts in the organization are as follows:
1. Jr. Assistant (Office): Candidates applying for this post must have a Graduate degree from a recognized university. No prior work experience is required.
2. Sr. Assistant (Accounts): Aspiring candidates should hold a Graduate degree, preferably in B.Com. Additionally, they should possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in fields such as financial statement preparation, taxation (direct & indirect), auditing, and other finance and accounts related areas.
3. Junior Executive (Common Cadre): Candidates applying for this position must have completed their graduation in any discipline. Post-qualification experience is not mandatory for this post.
4. Junior Executive (Finance): Aspirants should have a B.Com degree with ICWA/CA/MBA (2 years' duration) and specialization in Finance.
5. Junior Executive (Fire Services): Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Automobile Engineering.
6. Junior Executive (Law): Candidates applying for this post should possess a professional degree in Law, either through a 3 years' regular course after graduation or a 5 years' integrated regular course after 10+2. Additionally, they should be eligible for enrollment as an Advocate in the Bar Council of India to practice law in Indian courts.
Note: The experience considered for all posts is the one gained after obtaining the minimum educational qualification required for the respective post.
Regarding educational qualifications, candidates should have completed their degrees, diplomas, certificates, or membership examinations from a recognized/deemed university or an apex institution, such as IITs, IIMs, XLRI, TISS, etc., recognized by the Government of India. Pass marks or equivalent in Bachelor's and Postgraduate degrees, including MBA/CA/ICWA, are acceptable.
Candidates with B.E./B. Tech/B. Sc. (Engg.) degrees are eligible to apply for posts requiring a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
Age Limit and Relaxation
1. Jr. Assistant: The maximum age limit for this post is 30 years as of 04.09.2023.
2. Sr. Assistant: The maximum age limit for this post is also 30 years as of 04.09.2023.
3. Junior Executive: For this post, the maximum age limit is 27 years as of 04.09.2023.
Age Relaxation:
(i) SC/ST candidates are eligible for a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit, while OBC (Non-Creamy layer) candidates can avail a relaxation of 3 years.
(ii) PWD candidates are entitled to a relaxation of 10 years in the upper age limit, provided the post is suitable for the relevant category of disability, and they possess a valid disability certificate issued before 04.09.2023.
(iii) Ex-Servicemen will receive age relaxation as per the orders issued by the Government of India from time to time.
(iv) Candidates in regular service of AAI can avail a relaxation of 10 years in the upper age limit.
(v) For Post Codes 01 & 02, widows, divorced women, and women judicially separated from their husbands who are not remarried can get age relaxation up to the age of 35 years, subject to the submission of relevant documents.
(vi) The date of birth recorded in the Matriculation/Secondary Examination certificates will be considered final, and no requests for subsequent changes will be entertained.
